The journey through Singapore Coins and Notes Museum will educate young Singaporeans on the development of Singapore from a nation without its own currency to one of the first in the world moving towards electronic cash. Through the ancient coins used in Singapore from the 19th century to present day, visitors will receive a glimpse of the historical, economical, cultural and political progress of our country.

The visit will also enable visitors to understand the complete process involved in manufacturing a coin. Our exhibits also include coins that we have manufactured for both Singapore and many other countries in the world.
