The JTC Journey @ the JTC Summit
JTC Corporation (JTC) was incorporated in 1968 as a statutory board under the Ministry of Trade & Industry and tasked to spearhead the development of industrial infrastructure in Singapore. Over the past 40 years, JTC's pioneering efforts have transformed the industrial landscape -- moving beyond Jurong to many other industrial estates all over the island. Today, JTC manages 45 modern industrial estates that support more than 5,500 multinational corporations and local enterprises. It also develops specialised industry clusters in knowledge intensive industries such as biochemical, chemicals, wafer fabrication, aerospace, logistics and clean technology.
Located at The JTC Summit at Jurong East, "The JTC Journey" visitor centre has been revamped with new exhibition showcases that offer a multi-sensory interactive exhibition experience for students. Through a re-creation of Jurong's swampland, an aerospace park, an underground rock cavern as well as short video clips, students are taken on an exciting trail through JTCs past, present and future.

ChemGallery@Jurong Island
In the 1980s, the chemicals industry was identified as an industry cluster capable of contributing significantly to the economic growth of Singapore. In 1991, JTC was appointed as the government's agent for the Jurong Island project, to merge seven islands off the southern coast of mainland of Singapore to form a chemicals hub.
ChemGallery@Jurong Island is a chemical exhibition centre located at Oasis@Sakra, the amenity centre on the island. Showcasing the wonders and marvels of the chemicals industry, ChemGallery@Jurong Island provides an entertaining and educational experience for students.
