Learning Site |
|
Students will visit the book collection and permanent exhibit at the ISEAS Library, and participate in a guided tour, documentary film, and series of activities that will cover the life and achievements of S. Rajaratnam. The guided tour and lecture will examine the legacy of S. Rajaratnam, and the documentary films depict his career, political and personal life. In addition students will receive a briefing on the evolution of ASEAN, the regional institution that S. Rajaratnam helped to establish. The exhibit pays tribute to his accomplishments in nation building, in the region and on the international stage. There is also an optional component on conducting research on Southeast Asian issues available for JC students.
